Barras market is the place to be on Sundays...
The place is buzzing with life, once again & I for one, am loving the nostalgia it's bringing me from childhood 😀
However the things and stuff you can purchase have definitely been upgraded over the years... There are so many beautiful & talented vendors/artists/spiritualists, something for everyone. There are so many options for food. I've been liking the grub & coffee lately.
Can't help grab myself some earings . They have a really great selection of funky adornments.
My all-time favourite vendors would have to be... P.S Was a staple stall for my father every Sunday. I have jewellery he bought me from them many moons ago... Happy childhood memories around these vendors... and now I have my own little aventurine collection I've purchased in adulthood.

Basically folks...
Get your bums back to the barras. It's a banging day out, with friends, family, furry friends, or even solo.

glasgow terrier art trail...

The "Scotties in the City" art trail features 40 giant, artist-designed Scottie dog sculptures and 50 smaller "wee" pups scattered across Glasgow's parks, streets, and visitor destinations.

The completely free, family-friendly trail is running until August 16, 2026, to raise funds for Maggie's, a cancer support charity.

Key Trail Details

When: June 18 to August 16, 2026. The giant sculptures will be auctioned off for charity on September 10, 2026.

Where: Locations range from the banks of the River Clyde to the University of Glasgow campus and various city libraries.

The App: You can download the official tracking app to log codes from each dog. Some digital codes unlock special rewards and discounts at local businesses like Tinderbox.

When a Cherry blossom tree gets struck in a storm...it gives you access to the parts of the tree you wouldn't normally reach..
