Seamstress Wanted – Immediate Start

We’re looking for an experienced, full-time seamstress to join our busy alterations shop right away.

About the role:
• Immediate start available
• Full-time/Part-time hours available
• Based in Harrogate town centre — just 2 minutes’ walk from the train and bus station, so a driving licence isn’t necessary

What you’ll do:
• Sew, alter, and repair garments to a high standard
• Take accurate measurements and fittings
• Operate and maintain sewing machines (industrial/domestic)
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, hitting daily turnaround deadlines

What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience as a seamstress or in a similar alterations role
• Strong hand-sewing and machine-sewing skills
• Good eye for detail and finish
• Ability to work quickly and independently under pressure
• Comfortable managing a high volume of garments
