We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Livery Yard Assistant to join our team at Beavers Livery Yard in Beckwithshaw, Harrogate.

🐎 What will you be doing?
Your day will include:
• Mucking out stables — singing along to the yard radio is encouraged, talent is entirely optional! 🎵🎤
• Poo picking — cardio, fresh air and horse poo… what more could you want? 😂
• General yard duties and keeping everything clean, tidy and running smoothly 🧹
• And generally getting stuck in with whatever needs doing on the day 💪🏻

🌧️ The important bit…
This is an outdoor job, and whilst the British weather is currently doing a fantastic impression of the Caribbean, we can’t promise it will last!
You need to be happy working in rain, wind, cold, mud and everything else Yorkshire decides to throw at us.

You also need to be an early riser. We start at 7am, so if you need three alarms, a coffee, a motivational speech and 45 minutes of staring into the distance before you're capable of communicating with another human… this probably isn't the job for you! 😂

🐴 We're looking for someone who is:
• 🐴 Horse mad and genuinely enjoys being around horses
• 💪 Hard-working and not work shy
• 🤝 A good team player
• ⏰ Reliable and punctual
• 🌦️ Happy working outside in all weathers
• 🐎 Experienced around horses and confident handling them
• ☀️ Ideally someone who is suspiciously cheerful at 7am!

⏰ Hours & Pay
Every Saturday: 7:00am–5:00pm
There may also be the occasional Sunday when holiday or sickness cover is required.
You will receive a 30-minute paid morning break and a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Pay: National Minimum Wage.
