🌽🎨 Calling All Young Designers! 🎨🌽
We’ve got something maize-ing for you! 👀�We’re looking for a brand new character to join our Maize Maze Children’s Trail next season and we want YOU to design it! 🌾✨
🧑‍🎨 Whether it’s a cheeky scarecrow, a clever corn cob, or a mischievous field mouse, we want to see your most creative ideas come to life.

How to enter:
1️⃣ Draw your character (by hand or digitally!)
2️⃣ Give them a fun name and tell us a little about their story 🌟
3️⃣ Submit your entry by 01/05/2026 at [email protected] or via facebook messenger
🏆 The winning design will become the official mascot of our 2026 Children’s Trail. Plus the winner will receive a family VIP pass to the Maize Maze and free wheelbarrow of pumpkins.

🐾 Great news for our four-legged visitors! 🐾

We've extended the opening hours of our dog exercise field so you and your pups can enjoy it during the cooler parts of the day. 🌅🌙

Our new opening hours are:
🕕 6:00am – 9:00pm

Whether you're an early bird or prefer an evening run around, there's now more time for your dogs to stretch their legs, play, and have fun in a more comfortable temperature.

We shared the planting, and now we're sharing the growing of this year's pumpkins! 🌱🎃

We've got lots of different varieties growing this year, and it's great to see them all coming along so well.

There's still a little while to go before picking season, but we thought we'd share a little update from the patch. We can't wait to see these plants covered in pumpkins and welcome everyone back for another PYO season at Cullen Family Farming.

PYO wildflower experience coming summer 2026 Cullen Family Farming

Something beautiful is on the way… 🌸🌼

Here at Cullen Family Farming, our fields have been freshly drilled with wildflower seeds, and we’re so excited to watch them come to life over the coming months. 🌱

By summer 2026, we’ll be opening our brand new Pick Your Own (PYO) wildflower experience - a place where you can wander through colourful blooms, create your own handpicked bouquets, and enjoy the countryside with family and friends.

This is something really special for us as a family-run farm, and we can’t wait to share it with you all. 💛

Keep an eye on our page for updates as the flowers begin to grow… it’s going to be a stunning season!

We absolutely loved visiting All Saints' Church of England Primary School - Dovercourt as part of The Tendring Show educational outreach. The students really impressed us with some fantastic questions about farming. Looking forward to seeing you all at this year’s show.
