Happy Friday, everyone! How has your week been?
Hubby has helped me get my big machine out and I've given her a clean and oil and replaced some of the needles. Got my yarn out ready and then spent a couple of hours working out a pattern for a half fisherman's rib sweater for hubby. I even did a gauge swatch! That's my weekend sorted 🤣
Yes, I know, it's a new cast on and not one of my WIP's, but you know what it's like!

My second finished Wip for the month! This has gone to it's new home now too.
It's my second one of these and the longer sleeves feel like they took forever!
So that leaves me two Wips left to finish before I start anything new, providing I can resist the new cast on temptation 😅

Little boy has had a lovely 2nd birthday! Chicken for breakfast, lots of running about and playing ball, had a bath and then played in the garden with the hose and then more ball.

Finished these pretty socks last night and have lovely sunshine to take a nice pic today. I used two gorgeous yarns I bought at EAYF. The main is "plum pudding" merino sock and the contrast was a random mini from They both knit up beautifully 😍
My own pattern for the socks just using a broken rib detail for the leg and foot top. And I did a heel, flap and gusset for a change! 🤣

Evening all! How you doing?
This is not in the slightest bit craft related but it is this week's WIP 😂 All empty, cleaned, decluttered and almost ready for the new sofas tomorrow. Just going to wash the carpet and call it a day!
As you can see from the marks I the floor, the dog is confused and going to sleep where there should be a sofa! But also enjoying the one put outside for collection 😂😂

Hello all! It's been a very exciting (and tiring) few days. Davina and I went to the EAYF which was fantastic. I did of course spend more than I planned but I got a set of the mindful interchangeable needles and they are amazing! I didn't know swivel cables could make so much difference 😳
And today, this beauty arrived. Look at all those little drawers and slots for my knitting equipment. I've loved these types of bureau since I was little and saw my great grandma's one in her lounge.
And later this week, we have new sofas coming. I am ridiculously excited as we've never had new ones. The downside is trying to clear all my crap out the lounge 😂😂

Good morning my lovelies! We got to the end of another week, has it been good for you?
Today is a take it easy day so that I can enjoy the with Davina tomorrow, we are sooo excited and have been looking forward to it for weeks and weeks! It's going to be great to see Susan and Paul too. I have got to get a new wool winder (mine has had a tantrum of some kind and now winds only in one direction and I can't fix it) and I'm looking forward to getting some new stitch markers. Apart from that, I'm going to try and be a good girl lol.

Hi! 👋🩷 how has your day been?
It's been a bright day here in Harwich and we spent some time in the garden after work. Hubby got another shrub sorted out and I got cabbages, brocoli and kale seedlings in their big beds. Then the pup and I played with the hose, he loves playing in the water and got serious zoomies 😂
I'm now going to settle down for the evening and do some more on this blanket.

Happy Wednesday everyone, how have you been?
Yesterday was just plain hard work and come the end of the day my brain was fried lol chasing paperwork and shipping routes across time zones was not fun! So I've started this. It's a variation of attic 24's cosy cupcake blanket, I'm working hdc instead of dc to make it a bit thicker. The plan is to have it finished by 22nd for Mikey's birthday. Wish me luck!

Good morning and Happy Monday!
I don't usually put the tv on in the morning but it was very quiet here so wanted some background noise whilst I worked. I was delighted to see that Gyles Brandreth is still wearing his handknit jumpers. What do you think of this piggy one? He turned around at one point to show that this piggy also had a curly tail on the back, so cute!
So I hope your day has started well. The frost has cleared and the sun is shining here which always makes a better Monday. Have a great afternoon xx
