This morning, when I arrived in Haverfordwest, I found my sign lying face down on the ground.
For those who don’t know, it is one of those signs with information about my business on both sides. Someone has clearly had “fun” by stamping on it with a lot of force, to the point where it can no longer stand upright properly.
It is heartbreaking to see that someone would do this to something that was simply there to help people find my shop and know that I am here, working for the local community.
Unfortunately, there are people in the world who do not respect other people’s belongings, hard work, or the effort behind a small business. This was not just a piece of plastic or a sign — it represents my work, my passion, and my commitment to the community.
I feel really disappointed and sad that someone chose to damage something that was causing no harm to anyone.
I hope we can all remember to treat each other’s things with kindness and respect. A small act of carelessness can have a big impact on someone else.
