Morning lovely people this morning I have an announcement.
Never one to do things by halves......
Late last October whilst driving to Burnley over the tops I had a rather large stroke.
Thanks to my intern Cerys who managed to wrangle an ambulance for me I was whisked via blue flashing lights to Preston Hospital where I had an emergency Sci - Fi like operation to remove a clot from my brain.
I survived unharmed by some miracle but needed much rest afterwards.
However I have now decided to close Hat Therapy and hang up my needle, thread and tape measure.
As they say 20 is plenty and I have been open 20 years at the beginning of Dec.
There are too many wonderful clients to name but thank you all for your commissions and purchases throughout the 20 years I've been working.
Just so many incredible memories.
Hats or items made, purchased worn to memorable events and everyday use, I feel it would be nice to remember them all.
So I was thinking I could make a story window.
If you would like to send me your Hat Therapy memories on a
piece of card or paper with a story of your own. ( not too big)
I will make a display of them all in my windows and add my memories.
It will make interesting reading that's for sure.
Also lovely when it's in the person's hand writing don't you think.

I will take some photographs when it's completed.
So the shop will be for rent or sale so if you know of a wedding related someone looking for a nice premicies or somebody wanting to start a new business adventure in the wedding industry send them my way please.
I imagine it making a wonderful mother of the bride/groom emporium and my clients are still calling so there is plenty of scope still to be explored.
Anyway we will see what happens next.
So thank you all for being so glorious and allowing me to make all your magnificent hats.
There is a huge amount of trust in bespoke work.
