If you cannot find what you want from our stocks at our shop we can take an order for a pair in the style and colour of your choice! A large percent of clogs today are still used for the industrial market. Large companies such as Corus take regular supplies, as does heavy industries such as glass works and foundries. In fact the company regularly supplies around a hundred different industrial customers throughout the U.K . The requirements are stringent, so all Walkley Clogs Industrial Clogs are tested up to the EN 345 standards. This gives the firm a strong marketing advantage, which has helped it pe*****te the Netherlands market: Dutch clogs do not meet the required European standards. The safety clogs are at least twice as strong as a normal safety boot, and are designed to protect worker's toes and soles. They are made from locally-sourced leather and, typically, beech wood. Different soling materials are attached to the wood according to the environment in which the safety clogs will be worn.

Good morning from the clog shop in Mytholmroyd. Good morning from Walkley’s Clogs in Mytholmroyd 🙂
It’s been a fantastic week at the factory meeting so many interesting customers. A special shout-out to John, who emailed us all the way from New Zealand and arrived at the shop on Friday!
He was looking for a pair of our reconditioned Para Boot clogs with a full rubber sole and heel. Thankfully, we had a pair waiting and they fit him wonderfully!
For those who don't know, our Para Clogs are made from army boots that would otherwise go to landfill. We strip them down, add fresh leather to the back, and clog them onto a traditional wooden sole.
It was a pleasure meeting you, John. Thank you so much for your purchase and your continued support over the years!
Bonus: John also brought along a brilliant Para clog accessory and suggested we start making it for sale. It looks amazing with the clogs! What do you think?

on sole. The leather a bit more individual. A lovely dappled soft brown waxy leather. Nailed all brass to the waist with a matching toe tin..

At Walkley Clogs we have been wanting to share these gorgeous black suede slip on clogs, and swivel slip on clogs for some time.
The black suede is a brand new addition to our leather choices. Beautifully soft and substantial enough to hold its shape. Fastened to the sole with durable steel nails.

Happy bank holiday weekend from all the cloggers at the clog shop in Mytholmroyd. 🙂 Just had to share with you, this beautiful pair of Burgundy leather Derby boot clogs, that we posted to a customer the other day. The Derby boot clog is a popular style, and now we are adding sheepskin if you prefer, with a choice of black or white sheepskin. It makes the clogs really extra warm and cozy to wear..

Good sunny morning from the clog shop in Mytholmroyd. Couldn’t resist showing you these gorgeous children’s Derby Boot clogs. Ordered by Grandma Mandy for her little grandson. Made out of three different coloured soft Italian leathers.
They just look super gorgeous. A good hard wearing grip rubber on the wooden soles.
Going out in the post today.

Happy Yorkshire day from a sunny clog shop in Mytholmroyd.
It’s been a lovely week, helped by lovely visitors/customers who’ve come into visit.

Judith & Mark from Shrewsbury called into see us and bought a pair each of our slip buckle clogs. All ready made in the shop.

Judith chose a pair of orange floral slip on clogs. Mark chose a hand dyed and tooled slip ons.

The both looked great in their clogs.

Mark walked out of the shop wearing his. Really like that when that happens.

Good morning from the clog shop 🙂 it’s been a busy and as always interesting week of lovely visitors and customers coming to see us..

One of our visitors was Erin from Leicester who came with her mum.

After trying on many styles and colours of clogs. Erin chose a red leather pair of original slip ons, with a thinner strap, that could be worn over the instep or around the back.

They suited her lovely.. I’m thinking I should put this style on our website. What do you think?

Thank you Erin for choosing clogs, over other alternatives of more well known brands, similar style on the high street. But in my opinion clogs are definitely the best footwear you can ever have on your feet! Natural wood and leather, the best!

This is a follow up from our ‘New Year post’ about Hermione who has been selected to represent England in the Dance World Cup taking place in Dublin in the National and Folklore section out of 1000’s of dancers.

Good evening from the clog shop in Mytholmroyd. We’ve really enjoyed making these amazing Sundi boot clogs ordered by Steve, who’s a New Model Army fan.,
It helped that we managed to get hold of the best leather for this style. Black finished veg tan sides, which was perfect for fetching out the snowflake crimp.
This style is one of the original clog boot styles created by the founder of Walkley clogs ‘Frank Walkey’. Which is made with plenty of eyelets up the sides, and an overhanging tongue.
It fills us with pride to be able to recreate this style in all its glory.
