Replaced the zip in this Hugo boss leather coat for . I had the zip custom made by a size 8 gunmetal open end YKK excella zip. Shipped from the Netherlands! This would have been impossible without the help of who came out and upgraded the jukiDU1181N to a 950W servo (I’m basically unstoppable now 🤣)

🧵 bonded nylon for my juki DU1181N 🪡. This stuff is a nightmare to store. It’s heavy, it unravels and I had tried multiple methods of keeping the bobbins neat. (Masking tape mainly but annoying) so I asked to design some heavy duty pegs for my Ikea board that could hold the heavy thread, some are up to 600g, and bobbin holders for the extra large bobbins, pic from . He’s delivered a new problem solving product! ✨

🐦‍⬛🐝Picking some borders and backing fabric for my aunts tapestries she has been working on. ((Featuring the cockers)) Had my box of samples from arrive yesterday, I cannot wait to work with these! Backing fabric will be a London velvet from so it’s hard wearing and suitable for cushion backing. Exciting creations to come, we have settled on two trims 🪡

🧵 all the outfits for Cheltenham races this week done and out the door 🐎 time for a spring refresh, dust and move everything up on to the ikea peg boards. Had a splurge at for more pegs and clear shelves. He’s designed new pegs strong enough for the 5/600g thread spools! 🐭🎩 The mice have moved, I think I need to make her a dress to match her partners tails and put her winter coat away. ((I enjoy people’s reactions to the little bubbles of magic dotted around my room))
