I’m working hard behind the scenes at the moment on my new series of miniature fabric books.
The first three to launch in the spring, are shapes, numbers and colours 🌈

Birthdays aren’t quite what they used to be 🎁 When you have children it becomes a little bit less rave till 2am and more in bed by 9 - fingers crossed that they sleep through.
Wouldn’t want it any other way though!!
I know a lot of people moan about getting older and it’s easy to feel a bit down at the slipping away of time (and even easier to feel bad about what you THINK you should have accomplished by now) but to be honest I always feel so blessed and lucky to have seen another year.
Ageing always feels like a gift and not something to take for granted.
I’m hopeful that I grow old and grey and get to see future generations enthusiastically blowing spittle onto my birthday cake (or birthday bagel like I had this morning!)

Last night I quickly posted on my stories a question before going to bed -
“What is the first word that comes to mind when you think of Pip and Cherry?”
It was around branding and based on an exercise I was doing for my buisness (basically homework set by , and ) I didn’t really think too much about the answers that I’d receive and drifted off to sleep (this makes my sleep sound a lot more restful than it was!)
Then this morning i’ve woken up to the most wonderful array of sunshiny, sweet and heartfelt responses (which really helped with the fact the twins were up at 5)
Responses that have made me feel a bit teary and a whole lot thankful to have found such wonderful customers & followers through these little squares.
I can’t quite believe all the lovely things you had to say.
Honestly you have all put an extra (much needed) spring in my step this morning so thank you so blinking much 😘😘

To hat or not to hat that is the question??!??

Well with Lucy it’s less of a question and more of a raging “I want to wear my hat and my glittery shoes and my tutu skirt EVERYWHERE at all times!!!!!”
tantrumed demand.
Anyone else currently dealing with toddlers who have suddenly become VERY clear on what they want to wear?!?🤣
