We won silver!

I am so pleased to share that our 100% bamboo fitted cotbed sheet, has been awarded silver in the 2021 MadeForMums awards, in the baby and toddler sleeptime product category.

As many of you will know I started Ara and Obi, after struggling to find bedding, in particular sheets for both my children who suffer from eczema, that didn't further irritate their already sensitive skin.

I am really happy that our sheets have been recognised for all the amazing qualities they have (super soft, hypoallergenic, frictionless), but most importantly that helpful to little ones with delicate, sensitive and eczema prone skin.

O A T S 🌾

Adding colloidal oatmeal to the bath can really help soothe your little one's skin if it's itchy or enflamed becauseof eczema. It works a natural emollient, holding moisture against the skin, and also has anti-inflammatory properties to help stop itching.

How do you make it?

🌾 Add one cup of organic oats into a food processor
🌾Blend until it's like a fine powder
🌾 Add a tablespoon to the bath (so the water turns milky and dissolves, turning into a silky consistency)

🎉 It's April!!!! 🎉

I love April, but then again I am totally bias because it's my birthday month, and now my son's too. I can't believe he is going to be 1 in a few weeks. Keep an eye out for something special on that day. Seriously though, lighter days warmer weather... what's not to love?
