After an incredible journey, the time has come for us to hand over the reins to new owners!
What started in 2021 as a tiny shop open just two days a week quickly became something much bigger than we ever imagined. Back then, orders were packed in spare rooms and garages, and we genuinely thought we had made it.
As things grew, so did the belief. We moved into our Hexham store, and that’s where the real foundations were built. Blood, sweat and tears went into those four walls. It became a place full of life, welcoming wedding parties, locals, and visitors from all over. The support we received turned that shop into something we will always be proud of.
Taking the next step into Newcastle brought new challenges, probably more stress than we needed at times, but also more growth, more lessons, and more memories.
Now, the time has come to hand things over and fully focus on the next chapter with Charles Grey Menswear. We’ll still be around from time to time, but this is a new era for us.
More than anything, we just want to say thank you.
To every customer who walked through our doors, supported us, trusted us with your big days, or simply came in for a chat and a cuppa. You made this more than a shop. You made it a community.
We’ve made friends for life along the way. We’ve also felt loss, especially with our dear friend Errol, who will always be part of S&S and part of us. That’s something we’ll carry forward forever.
So for now, it’s goodbye… but not the end.
