Merry Christmas!

Just a little update to say that all of my appointments are now full the rest of the year.
My books will now close and they will reopen for appointments on Monday 5th January.

Thanks to all of my lovely clients for making 2025 my busiest year yet!

Prom season comes around so fast - I’ve already had my first prom dress alteration of 2025.

My lovely client brought in this beautiful pink velvet dress covered in sequins for me to take up for her. We also replaced the elastic ties for satin straps and created a hair bow out of the same matching satin fabric.

My books are full for the next couple of weeks but I’m taking appointments for March onwards. Drop me a message if you have any alteration needs.

Now that Halloween is over, I thought it might be a good time to give you my Christmas opening times 🎄

I’ll be taking appointments until Friday 13th December to allow time to turn things around before I close for Christmas on 20th December for some much needed rest over the festive period.

I’ll be back open on Monday 6th January.

A big thank you again to all my wonderful customers for keeping me busy throughout the year!

Thank you for all the lovely messages and concern.

For those who don’t know, I had a fun Friday evening in A&E after burning my hand when my electric steamer sparked and caught fire while I was using it.

Don’t worry I’m alright now but I’ve been told to rest up for a few days and I’ll be bandaged up for the next couple of weeks.

Naturally, this means I’ll be a little slower than usual when it comes to sewing for a little while.

Unless I’ve messaged you already, I’ll honour all my current appointments I have in the diary - but I won’t be taking on any new customers until July.

This is to allow me to catch up and recuperate.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

And a massive thank you to all the lovely staff at Pinderfields and our brilliant NHS.

It’s been a wonderfully busy start to this year’s wedding season!
Already had some beautiful dresses and outfits to work on.

Just a little festive update, I’ll be closing up shop for Christmas from 15th December until 3rd January to have some much needed rest and time off over the festive season.

Who’s watching The Great British Sewing Bee? Here’s a throwback to one of my own transformation challenges - a customer had this dress sitting in their wardrobe but were no longer keen on the style. So we redesigned it by taking out some of the excess material and turned it into a one shoulder sundress with a waist belt! Let me know what you think.
