We had a great weekend at the steam rally, thanks to those that braved the heat, tried clothes on, purchased or just stopped to look. I met such a variety of people this weekend and some returning to visit again. I have come away with some things to improve though, I need to make a proper equipment list, we forgot things, the table display needs to be wind proof, it was very breezy on Sunday the it fell over and finally a bigger sign at the front! Oh and I’m in there somewhere if you look closely, maybe I should add lights to the list! Swipe for close ups and a video of the inside. Have happy week everyone 🍃.

We are back home after a wonderful week in Norfolk, there was plenty of blue skies and sunshine. We will pretend we didn’t have car trouble! I’m happy to see my flowers have bloomed, giving plenty to print with this week. The indigo cuttings I left have rooted ready to be planted out and I have some pretty mint coloured indigo silk to play with! Final news is the Kestrels chicks have flown back home after a day learning to hunt. Happy Weekend everyone 🍃

Hi hope everyone is surviving the heat! My shop is shut as we are off to the coast in tomorrow where hopefully if will be cooler! Here’s the dungarees from my last reel and if you swipe you will a couple more pieces I managed to finish this week. On my return I will be preparing for Woodcote Rally which is on the 11th & 12th of July. We are staying in woodland so I’m really happy about that. Back soon! 🍃

Printed this jumpsuit with a mix of onion skins, eucalyptus and crumpled oak leaves, so happy with how it turned out, just in time for summer! ☀️ Taking it with me, along with lots more upcycled clothes, to the Princes Risborough Town Council Farmer’s Market on Saturday.

May is a wonderful time of year for a botanical printer like myself, fresh leaves unfurl and flowers bloom giving plenty of material for us to create. I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by greenery and the dye flower seeds I planted earlier in the year are doing well. The Cosmos look strong and the Marigolds are flowering and I’ve already started to dry some to store away for winter dyeing. So I’m busy printing this week to add to my stock, lots of dungarees of course! You can find me on Saturday which is a great event with plenty to amuse young and old! Hope to see you there. 🍃.
