If you’ve ever had to take off your motorcycle gloves just to open or close your jacket, this one is for you.

Women riders deserve better | Episode 5

When I was developing the VEGA, I tested two different zip pullers with motorcyclists. The feedback was clear, and the bigger one won.

Why? Because when you’re wearing motorcycle gloves, a tiny zip puller can be surprisingly difficult to grab.

So I chose a larger metallic puller on the diagonal front zip, designed so you can pull open and close your motorcycle jacket without removing your motorcycle gloves.

One small detail. A much less frustrating moment when you’re getting ready to ride.

Because motorcycle clothing should work with you, not make you fight with it.

Do you have enough of the cold air sneaking up your sleeves?

This one is for the woman who notices every little detail when she rides, especially that unwelcome chill finding its way up her sleeves.

The VEGA motorcycle jacket’s detachable winter inlay features integrated thumbhole sleeves, helping keep cold air where it belongs: outside.

And because the thumbhole is seamlessly designed, there’s no bulky seam creating a pressure point between your thumb and index finger when you’re holding the throttle.

Thoughtful details. Refined comfort. Serious protection from the elements.

Because you shouldn’t have to choose between feeling comfortable on your bike and feeling protected.

Tag the woman who is always cold on her motorcycle.

What does it actually mean to design a motorcycle jacket for women?

It means more than making a smaller version of men's motorcycle gear.

It means understanding how women ride, what we need from our clothing and whether a jacket actually works when we take it out into the real world.

So when Vannia, Kronhamn, a motorcyclist and member of Bike Babes Sweden, tested the VEGA jacket, I was particularly interested to hear what she thought.

And she didn't just wear it for a few photographs.

She tested it in Sweden across different types of riding, including track days, dirt roads, highways and commuting.

She rode in rain and colder weather. She also tested it on warmer days with the winter lining removed.

Then she shared her experience in a full, independent product review for Boundaries Magazine (Beyond Boundaries).

She looked at the things that matter when you're actually riding: protection, comfort, flexibility, weather resistance and the details that make a jacket practical to ride with.

I can tell you why I designed VEGA. I can tell you about the CE AA certification, Level 2 armour and the features developed specifically with women riders in mind.

But ultimately, you should be able to decide for yourself whether a jacket works for you.

That's why I'm sharing this review.

If you've ever wondered whether motorcycle clothing designed specifically for women really makes a difference, I hope this gives you another perspective to consider.

And tell me: what do you look for in a motorcycle jacket you can trust?

Protection? Fit? Comfort? Weather resistance? Or something else?

If you're the woman who has had enough of bulky motorcycle jackets and uncomfortable armour, this is for you.

You shouldn't have to compromise on comfort to get maximum protection.

The VEGA jacket comes with Fanom® CE Level 2 shoulder, elbow, and back protectors as standard, providing the highest level of impact protection.

But here's the difference: the armour is soft, flexible and lightweight, designed to move with you rather than feel like you're carrying a suit of armour on your shoulders.

And because the back protector is included, you don't have to buy one separately and add another bulky layer to your jacket.

Protection that feels almost imperceptible when worn and stays almost invisible from the outside.

Explore VEGA, the women's motorcycle jacket designed around the way women actually ride.

Ever felt like your motorcycle jacket just doesn't have enough pockets?

If you've ever had to squeeze your phone, wallet and keys into one pocket or leave something behind because there simply wasn't enough space, you're not alone.

That's exactly why we designed the VEGA women's motorcycle jacket.

Instead of making you choose what to take, every essential has its own place.

→ Waterproof chest pocket for your smartphone.
→ Hidden sleeve pocket for your driving licence, bank card or cash.
→ Removable rear pocket for your wallet, keys or power bank.
→ Multiple internal pockets to keep everything secure and easy to find.

Because riding should be about enjoying the journey, not wondering where you put your essentials.

What's the one item you always struggle to find space for when you ride?

Women riders deserve better | Episode 1

Have you ever found a motorcycle jacket that fits your shoulders perfectly… but won't close over your hips?

Or perhaps you've bought a larger size just so it would fit comfortably around your hips, only to end up with sleeves that are too long and a jacket that's far too loose around your chest.

If that sounds familiar, you're not alone.

For years, women have been expected to compromise because many motorcycle jackets simply aren't designed to accommodate the variety of female body shapes. Instead of feeling confident and comfortable, we're often left choosing between a jacket that fits somewhere and one that fits nowhere.

At Linda-Jean, we believe it shouldn't have to be that way.

That's why the VEGA Women's Motorcycle Jacket includes discreet expansion zips at the hips. They provide extra room exactly where you need it, helping the jacket adapt to your shape without compromising the overall fit.

Because motorcycle clothing should fit you, not force you to fit it.

I'd love to hear your experience.

Some people see a short video of a woman standing beside her motorcycle, waiting for a plane to fly overhead.

I see a founder building her brand one piece of content at a time.

When you're growing a business with a limited budget, there isn't a photographer behind the camera or a marketing team planning the shoot. It's just you, a tripod, a motorcycle and the idea and product you believe in.

This is what building Linda-Jean Women's Motorcycle Fashion looks like today.

Every small brand starts somewhere.

If you've ever supported an independent brand, thank you. Every order, comment and conversation helps someone keep moving forward.

I'd love to know. When you discover a small brand, what makes you decide to support it?
