🪴 OFF DUTY 🪴

This week has been full-on. So I'm taking a day off to visit .

My brother called on Saturday to invite me to the beach on Monday. Of course, top of my priorities was to make myself a beautiful new parasol cover 🤣

(The pattern placement is completely intentional, with only 3m to work with 🤷‍♀️)

Shorten a lace hem.......no problem 🤩
All of this lace was carefully removed, the skirt layers shortened to the correct length. Then all lace detail repositioned (with the help of lots of photos and pins)
and stitched back in place 🪄✨️
