It was a pleasure to be able to restore this much loved top hat and keep the story going for the next generation. It had been in Russell's family for generations but needed some TLC to bring it back to life. 🎩

When removing the lining, I even found a corner of an envelope which had a signature on which I believe belonged to the maker because it was common practice for them to leave their mark on their garments.

To honour his Uncle George, Russell decided to have his top hat hat restored which was somewhat of a family heirloom.
