Blink and you'll miss it.

This is a priceless job, really. Everything I do is so time sensitive, everything I capture goes so quickly.

The teeny fingers.
The newborn scrunch.
The wedding day.
That silly toddler smile they learn out of nowhere.
And don't get me started on old dogs.

Time just goes. I'm here to help you remember the little details of those big moments.

Yesterday - a dreamy, intimate ceremony at Hull's Guildhall for Laurie and Jamie. Childhood sweethearts, with their daughter walking Laurie down the aisle and their son stood as best man and ring bearer.

I really loved this one. It felt so special. Capturing the mum/daughter and dad/son combos before they all met down the aisle felt like huge core memories being made.

And Laurie... you looked absolutely UNREAL 🙌.

We took a scorching hot walk after the ceremony into Hull's old town for the pretty cobble streets and some family portraits, before Laurie and Jamie head off to celebrate with the rest of their family.

Happy Father's Day to all of you dads 🤍.

Including parents in my newborn sessions is my biggest priority - even if it's just your hands! It's so important to have those moments to look back on, when you're out of the newborn trenches, reminisce and can't believe they ever fit in your hands like that.

Sweet baby girl Marlowe 🤍. I've had a test print done of that teddy photo and it has printed so incredibly that I think I'm gonna get it put up nice and big on the studio wall 🥹.

Time flies. I really (and not in that "oh I'm just saying it" way) really feel like I've just had her in the studio for her newborn session, and here she is - still dinky and still totally adorable.

They do grow up so quickly. It all changes so quickly. Soak it up. 🥹

I have countless weeks, no, months worth of work to share, yet not enough hours in the day to show it all off. 🤭

This job can be a lot. It is incredibly rewarding work and it really is what my heart beats for, but oof there's always something that desperately needs doing.

But hey, on a whole, Morgan 10 years ago would be pinning this life on her Pinterest board. And I'd rather be exhausted from doing what I love more than anything, than exhausted from a job I hate. 🤍

I freeze love and create art.

I'm very thankful to call this work, no matter how long the days are.
