Welcome, we're a small family team of Angela, Simon and daughter Charlotte and we run our business, specialising in the sale of fibres and equipment for feltmaking, hand spinning and weaving from Addingham, West Yorkshire. Oooh, 30 years ago today! Surely Pearl weddings are only for older people, not us? We look so young in the wedding photo, and I have never looked that smart, or thin, since. A smorgasbord of books from a delivery this morning! We've got some very full shelves of felting, weaving, dyeing and spinning books plus some extra woolly related topics. The one I can't recommend enough is The Spinner's Book of Yarn Designs! If you want to make yarn past a simple 2-ply this is the bible. If you saw our post about weaving cushions with art yarn, almost all of the yarn came from that book 😁 You can find our full book collection on our website

Our monthly wheel clinics continue this Thursday at our shop in Addingham, West Yorkshire! Bring your Ashford wheel along and let Simon give it a once over. It’s free if all your wheel requires is a little TLC, we will only charge if it needs parts or more major work. We can also help with advice on fibre, tensioning or drafting even if your wheel doesn't need a check up. No need to book, just show up!
