If you’ve noticed things have been a little quieter around here lately, you’re not imagining it. Like many small businesses, I am definitely feeling the slowdown at the moment.

I know that for so many families, budgets are tighter than ever and essentials have to come first. I completely understand that handmade and small business purchases aren’t always possible, and there is absolutely no pressure or expectation.

Maternal Mental Health Week 💛

Motherhood isn’t always the soft-focus moments we see online. Sometimes it’s overwhelming, lonely, exhausting… and a lot heavier than anyone prepares you for. Maternal mental health struggles don’t always look obvious. You can be showing up, getting everything done, smiling and still be struggling underneath.

But here’s what I’ve learnt - you don’t have to carry it on your own. Talking helps. Being honest helps. Letting someone in, even just a little, can make a difference.

If you’re in that place right now, I see you. You’re not alone in this, even if it feels like it.

And if you’re not, check in on a mum you know. A message, a coffee, a “how are you really?” can go a long way.
