Awwww Luvlies!!!! 🩷
Today, one of Kendal’s most talented and well-known photographers, Jonny Gios Photography stopped by Iluvmemost.
He surprised me with an afternoon tea… 😂 only joking… an afternoon photoshoot!
As he left, I remember thinking how kind and generous
Then later, I saw the beautiful post he had written about me.
I’m not going to lie… it brought tears to my eyes.
Sometimes people see the smile, the dancing, the bright colours and the “Hello Luvlies,” but they don’t always see the journey that came before it.
There have been seasons where I’ve wondered how I would keep the doors open, specifically when Papa sadly passed
There have been days I’ve smiled while quietly carrying grief.
There have been moments I’ve questioned whether I was good enough
But every morning I unlocked that little door on Finkle Street, chose gratitude and welcomed people in with as much love as I could.
Not because life was easy…
but because I wanted Iluvmemost to be a place where women could forget their worries, even if only for a little while, and leave feeling lighter than when they arrived.
So for someone like Jonny to take the time not only to photograph me, but to see me, see my input in the town, that means more than I can put into words.
Life has taught me something beautiful.
Whenever the path has felt dark, somehow God has always placed someone in my life to help light the next few steps.
Today, Jonny was one of those people.
Thank you, Jonny, for your kindness, your generosity and your encouraging words. You have no idea how much they meant to me.
And thank you to every one of my Luvlies.
You’ve laughed with me, cried with me, believed in me and supported this little dream through every season.
If Iluvmemost has ever made you feel loved, welcomed or a little brighter, then every difficult day has been worth it.
I’m eternally grateful.
Luv always, Win 🩷
