The newest addition to the family, PEAK HOUR HOUSE is where lifestyle meets elevated home living. We finally got the chance to visit, and stepping inside for the first time was surreal – watching what once lived on our screens take shape in the real world.

Designing for a shopping mall space is never straightforward, even for one as high-end as Grand Lisboa Palace, but the team at PEAK HOUR HOUSE has created something truly wonderful – a calm, intentional space that feels both refined and welcoming. If you’re in Macau, it’s absolutely worth a visit (especially if you like Cul de Sac-JAPON, they’re exclusively stocked here!) ✨

In a hungry bid to scoff the best cakes in Asia, two sisters called May ate their way around the best bakeries of Japan and South Korea.

The Mays harboured a deep desire to share the best of their travels with their fellow (and sister) cake lovers.

A sweet toothed obsession took hold and Amaii was born, founded by a passion for Japanese bakeries, home cooking and, you guessed it, a love of 🍰

The company name is a play on words, 'amai' (ah-ma-ee) means sweet in Japanese, 'mai' can also be pronounced as 'may'. The second 'i' represents the two founding sisters called May.

Today Amaii is a cake collection service which specialises in Japanese inspired cakes that are light and fluffy with a delicate taste.
