Synge Update - September '26

We are now over half way! Our last walk of September saw us climb 3 synges which included Eagle Crag and Sergent Crag (final photo) and took our total to 338/670.

As always, it's been a mixed bag of weather over the month, but I took some stunning photos of a very low Haweswater on a lovely dry and clear day (photo number 4).

I'm sure the next few months are going to become a little trickier as the nights lengthen and the weather worsens (hopefully not!) but me and Mags will forge on!

August '26 - Synge Update

I've made the most of any good weather by going onto higher hills or hills that I don't know at all. This has included a few separate trips out to Haweswater area.

During any poorer weather days, I stuck to lower fells or fells that I knew well.

My current count of synges is up to 312, so with 4 months to go, hopefully I'll get to the 400 mark by the turn of the year.

Many of our t's are on offer at 2 for £45, some highly technical and some, designed for more general use.

Synge Update - July '26

July is a very busy month at work and although I've done plenty of walking, I'm really struggling to remember what I've done. That goodness for Strava.

So apparently, I completed the Crinkle Crags at the beginning of the month but I'm pretty sure I blanked out that particular walk!

We still had good weather and overall, me and Mags completed 39 synges bringing our total to 271.
