I did a thing! ....Collaborating in a wonderful partnership with Hector MacLean London AW 26 collection Escape at

Wow what an experience!
On Sunday the 23rd Feb I went to London to see months of hard work in millinery transform into a wonderful evening fashion catwalk with Hector MacLeans AW collection inspired by his Polish grandmothers journey from encampments in World War 2 to meeting her Scottish husband. The collection was bravely talking about war and inherited reslience. Inspired by Hectors love letter to her I researched more about her past to influence my designs and help tell her story in hats and headpieces with strong sculptural but subtle impact. I so believe the result speaks for itself.

Major sincere thanks to for choosing to work with me. I loved every minute/ hour/ days of working with you and congratulate you on yet another successful collection.

A quick round up of some of our amasing clients of 2025.
More to follow but meantime lets give these beautiful women a large cheer for looking fabulously spectacular in Leanne Cairns Millinery this year 👏👏👏👏.
In summary this year was full of big hats, custom made dresses, upcycled and remodelled hats but mostly great fun loving characters who know they want quality style over throw away and poorly/ unfairly manufactured fashion.
That sounds good to me.

Lorna's Hat- the process 🧵🪡👒

We recently decided to document the making of this stunning hand dyed spruce green downturned brim with flat crown hat for Lorna as mother of the bride in October at .co.uk.
You can see the many processes involved in creating this hat in our video here, its a real labour of love to dye, block and hand sew our hat designs using traditional craft techniques. We hope you enjoy watching the process.
We just love the effortless design of this hat with floating quills in black and gold to match her dress and accessories. Simple, elegant and classic.

We welcomed CentreStage media team into the studio recently to show what happens when booking an appointment and getting your own unique hat design made. I Also spoke about how important it is to showcase artistry in craft and encourage younger creatives to invest in industries that showcase their talent, something that is very close to our sense of purpose, encouragement and joy for handmaking and design. We are so privilleged to be based within a growing village of community based organisations in the Neighbourhood area of Centrestage who all are making our communities happier and stronger.

Jan's beautiful parisisal perched beret hat was custom designed, made and dyed to match her stunning bespoke dress by with custom dyed Emmy London made shoes. The attention to detail in this whole mother of the bride ensemble is just stunning and I was delighted to make her gorgeous hat with just as much detail continuing on the dress bead work on the veiling. templeton.752 you looked wonderful!🩷🩷🩷👒👒

It only seems fitting to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our incredible Ambassador Joscelyne's Journey.
