**** Important update****
Yes the Gin was required!

On Tuesday last week we had a catastrophic electrical failure in the office. Initially we thought it was the fuses within the board, unfortunately it has ended up significantly more and as a result Custom fabric printing will no longer be in operation.

When flamingo fabrics rebranded to custom fabrics they all but dried up our passing trade overnight (thanks a lot), but we were happy toddling along doing printing for our one business as that is what the printer was always intended for. Unfortunately the cost to reinstate the 3 phase is significant and only required for post production.

We have made the decision to sell the full printing set up. Everything is in full working order as nothing was actually on. It was a random power surge and one of the machine testers said that the worst bit of luck I have ever seen!

So if you know of anyone interested in buying a full printing set up let me know, unlike with my installers I can fully train you 🤭😆, did I just say that yes I did!

The pop you get from reactive dye printing over pigment is amazing. Printed on our gorgeous buttery soft cotton jersey 240 gsm 95/5. Printed here in our Scottish factory.

Why did we stick to reactive when pigment printing is so much easier and cheaper, simply we needed a long lasting sustainable popping print that will last years. It’s been hard work but I think we do amazingly from especially from where we started back in 2020.

The upside when a large UK based fabric printer decides to almost copy your website name "custom fabric printing" is when they don't fulfil orders for their customers and they complain to me... super happy I reply to emails in a timely manner!

Customer placed an order last week for these lush poppies. I was unsure how the blue was going to respond as blue likes to be a pain in the ass. After the pop it should look the same as the top left. As you can see before the pop we have a lot of guessing!
