I’ve been waiting for this day 😆 Arlo wanted to be Harry Potter. He is the boy whose hair grows back overnight, who keeps bouncing back from setbacks with resilience and kindness 💛. I’m so proud of him, especially seeing him take to reading independently this last year. It just shows what the right intervention, support and environment can do ✨.
Then there’s Nova...my fierce, determined, unique princess. She’s really struggling right now, but today she embraced dressing up despite how much change can unsettle her. She is my Belle: brave, curious, strong, and full of heart 💖. I will forever make sure she is always included… and of course, she shall go to the ball 👑📖.
World Book Day really is the best, seeing them step into stories, letting imagination take over, feeling less alone when you can relate to a character, my heart is so full when I look at my gorgeous unique kids who are nothing but kind and wonderful. 💛📚.
