I am thrilled to announce that I am taking part in this year’s Kingston Dragon Boat festival as part of the ‘Oar-Some Voices’ team, on Sunday 19th July in Canbury Gardens.
I will be paddling to fundraise for Voices of Hope, a local charity who support women and children facing hardship, through initiatives like their children’s BRITE Box healthy meal kit project that supports 950 families every week, and their specialist Womens services and wellbeing activities that engage with over 600 women locally.
We have an ambitious fundraising target of £10,000 to help Voices of Hope make a real difference over the next year, so your donation however big or small, would mean a lot!
We would love to have you cheering us on at this great community event - first race starts at 10am.
