A Little Story Behind The Elephants Pyjamas… 🐘💙

The Elephants Pyjamas was born from one of Grandad’s famous sayings — a phrase that became part of the family, full of warmth, laughter and love. What started as a special family memory has now become the heart behind this little boutique here in Kinver.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, we wanted to celebrate Father’s Day in the most meaningful way possible… by introducing our very own Grandad Smith himself.

For one day only, Grandad will be joining us in store with a beautiful collection of his handmade gifts, specially created for our dapper daddies, generous grandads and the special men in our lives.

Expect stunning solid oak chopping boards, handcrafted wooden gifts and other beautifully made treasures — each one unique, thoughtful and made with care.

What a truly special day yesterday was at The Elephants Pyjamas! 🐘🩵

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to support our official launch day. Whether you popped in for a browse, made a purchase, enjoyed a glass of prosecco, sampled our delicious locally-made nibbles, or simply stopped by to wish us well, we are incredibly grateful.

Seeing so many familiar faces alongside new customers made the day even more memorable. The warmth, kindness and support from our wonderful community has been overwhelming and has reminded us exactly why we fell in love with Kinver.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, we’re so proud to bring you a boutique that’s more than just a baby shop – a place filled with beautiful gifts, sustainable babywear, toys, pyjamas, women’s fashion, personalised keepsakes, and a whole lot of heart.

A special thank you to everyone who supported our PJ’s Kindness Club too. Every toy and plush sale helps us give back to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, a cause very close to our hearts. 💙
