I’m sorry it’s taken a while to post, it’s been hard to take in what a was such an epic day! An amazing £3382 has been raised for who I was proudly running for last week, a truly wonderful charity improving the lives of others. Small charity with big heart. Thank you for having me on your team, and thank you to everyone who helped to raise above and beyond my target!! 💚 💚 💚

Slightly away from the glitz and glamour of beautiful head pieces. I wanted to take a little moment to say how very grateful I am that you love hats with such gusto! You have blown me away! It’s so fitting to be able to show a photo of my Nan in her hers at Buckingham Palace and on base at what seems to be a very fun mess dinner in Malaysia! You’ve raised a huge £3000 for the The Gurkha Welfare Trust, an organisation she supported for many years, and she’s my reason why, and should be celebrated. I do think she would absolutely mortified by this, so a huge thank you so so much for getting on board! Enjoy making memories, have fun and don’t forget to send me a photo xx 💚 💚 💚

Evening beautiful people!

It’s been a long time since I posted, if you saw my instagram stories you’ll see I’m having a wee little sale to raise funds for The Gurkha Welfare Trust as I’m running (loosely) the London Marathon this year!

To help reach my target I thought this would be a fun way to get the ball rolling!

The concept is simple, I’ll post photos with a price, and if it takes your fancy drop me a message, if you’d like to purchase you pay via the link which is directly to my fundraising page so ALL money goes to the trust! Then I’ll post said beautiful headpiece!

I have tried to take photos in a good light - but our British weather is not playing with us typically!

Prices are around the hire prices (bargain) unless they are unworn, almost new, or quite large, then the price varies a little. The majority are Rachel Trevor Morgan hats, which retail around £900+ (her website is the stuff of dreams) so you know you’re getting something special (and you can feel less guilt as it’s for a good cause!)

** disclaimer** Headpieces are as you know are ex-hire, so may show some signs of wear, but this is more underneath where you can’t see (tapes have been changed!) extra photos can be provided if you like!

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year, I hope 2024 is a special one for you all.

It is with a heavy heart that On Your Head Be it will be closing its doors. It has not been an easy decision to make as this fantastic adventure wouldn’t have been possible without any of you. The past 4 years has been an absolute hoot, and it’s been nothing short of wonderful helping you all for your special occasions. You’ve filled Kislingbury with a lot of laughter, as my neighbours can attest!! You’ve also helped raise money for Cynthia Spencer Hospice, an organisation that means so much to many people locally, so a big thank you!

It was a bit of a wild ride in 2023 and after a lot of consideration (my poor husbands ear has been gnawed off who has been nothing but a staunch cheer leader from the off and an all-round good egg) I’ve come to the decision that it’s the right time to hang up the hats to spend more time with the gang at home while they are still here and pursue more community based opportunities.

Please be assured that any confirmed bookings won’t be affected, your hat is still and will be here for you! I will pop up albums so that if you wanted to grab a bargain (a favourite maybe) for your event, you can! The usual lines of communication will be open for a while.

Once again, huge thank you for the laughs, the shared stories, the celebrated milestones, and the heartfelt moments with On Your Head Be It, it’s been an utter joy.

Hey everyone!

It’s that time of year where everyone downs tools and the holidays begin, and what a year it’s been so far!

As it’s the school holidays, it’s time for some much needed family togetherness.
