⭐️ The Shop’s Shufflin’ ⭐

Yesterday was all about getting the new Paul Smith Autumn/Winter ’26 delivery out of the boxes and priced. Today it finally made its way onto the shop floor.

We’ve had a bit of a reshuffle too, and whilst it’s still a work in progress, we’re really pleased with how it’s looking so far.

Thank you to everyone who called in today and patiently shopped around us while we were moving everything and getting it into place. It was very much appreciated.

Here’s the finished Paul Smith wall, bringing together the new Autumn/Winter collection alongside the current season. If you’re passing by, call in and have a look. 🤩

🤪 A HARD DAYS NIGHT ....

From Ordering, To Delivery, To Unpacking.

The first half of our Paul Smith Autumn/Winter ‘26 order landed today. We placed this order back in February, so we had a pretty good idea of what was coming, but opening those boxes never loses its appeal. After more than 40 years in menswear, I still get exactly the same buzz. It’s a bit like Christmas.

The funny thing is, while we’re unpacking Autumn/Winter ‘26, we’ve already been away buying for Spring/Summer ‘27. That’s just how retail works, you’re always thinking six months ahead.

Every new season brings something different, and when the deliveries start arriving, that excitement is still there. I honestly don’t think that’ll ever change.

Looking forward to getting the new Paul Smith collection out on the shop floor over the next few days and we some special collaboration pieces we are excited about. We’ll share more with you over the weekend.

We’ve got a great combination for those cooler days.

We’ve put together this lightweight gilet with a soft sweatshirt underneath. An easy look that’s comfortable, practical and still looks smart.

The gilet is a really useful piece to have in the wardrobe. Wear it over a sweatshirt like this, or layer it over a polo or shirt when you want something a little smarter.

It’s all about having pieces of clothing in your wardrobe that work together and can be worn in different ways.

The sunshine might have taken a little break, but it’s still perfect polo weather.

This peach shade has been one of our most popular colours this season, and it’s easy to see why. Fresh, easy to wear and a great way to add a bit of colour to your wardrobe without being over the top.

We’ve paired the polo with the matching hoodie, casually draped over the shoulders for those cooler mornings and evenings. Wear the polo on its own when the sun’s out, then reach for the hoodie when the temperature drops.

💙 AN INSIGHT INTO BUYING
(SPRING/SUMMER 2027)

It’s been an exciting week for us, and you may have noticed our opening hours were a little different.

We spent the day in London visiting Paul Smith for buying season, where we were selecting pieces from the Spring/Summer 2027 collection.

Buying is one of the most enjoyable parts of what we do. We always have our regular customers in mind, while also looking for new pieces and fresh ideas that we think you’ll love.

We’re really excited by what we’ve chosen for Spring/Summer 2027. The colours, fabrics and styles are fantastic, and we can’t wait to share them with you when they arrive.

While we were there, we also selected some accessories for Christmas, giving you even more gift ideas for the festive season.

The team at Paul Smith looked after us wonderfully and treated us to lunch, giving us the opportunity to chat about the collection and the inspiration behind it. It’s always lovely to spend time with people who share the same passion for quality, craftsmanship and great design.

A huge amount of thought goes into every collection we buy, and we hope it shows when you walk through our door.

Well, prom season is in full swing with lots of of lovely photos being shared! 📷

We’ve had such a lovely time in the shop helping young men choose their perfect prom suit. From finding the right style and fit, to making sure every detail is just right with alterations, it’s been a pleasure being part of such a special occasion.

As prom season starts to come to an end, we’re now welcoming customers looking for suits for graduations. 🎓

Just like with our prom suits, we take the time to make sure every suit is fitted perfectly and feels bespoke for the individual wearing it.

We’ve had families travel from all over, with our furthest journey so far being from Coventry; which means so much to us.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with these important milestones. We love helping you look and feel your best for those memorable moments. 💙

SPECIAL DELIVERY ....

This morning we enjoyed a little drive out to Skipton to deliver a suit to a young man ahead of his upcoming prom following his GCSEs.

His family had travelled to us from Skipton, to find the right suit, which meant a great deal to us. They visited twice: first to explore the options and choose a suit, and then again for a fitting once it had arrived, so that we could make any alterations needed for the perfect fit.

When it came to collection, getting back to the shop wasn’t easy for the family. They suggested that we post the suit, but with something this special, we didn’t feel that was the right option. Paul always likes to see the altered garment on the customer, just to make sure everything is absolutely perfect.

So we offered to deliver it personally.

This morning we arrived with the suit, and the young man tried it on straight away. The fit was perfect. Mum and Dad were delighted, and he looked fantastic. Seeing all three of them smiling made the trip more than worthwhile.

They joked that it was VIP treatment, but for us, it’s simply about looking after our customers, and making sure every detail is right.

Thank you for travelling to us and for trusting us with such an important occasion. We hope you have a wonderful prom and make memories.
