I started this some time ago and it has taken a while to become a working thing. Originally I was playing with jelly roll strips (well, 2 1/2 strips that I’d cut myself). I wasn’t very sure where it was going so it ended up in my ‘projects under consideration’ tub. Anyhow, today inspiration struck and I’m rather pleased with my new bag. Recently I was doing some freelance costume work in Peterborough for ‘9 - 5 The Musical’. I did lots of costume alterations and made mic packs for the whole cast, but my main, from-scratch, make was this candy striper uniform.
Candy Stripers were hospital volunteers who wore this red and white striped uniform. The uniforms have been phased out now which is a bit of a shame as I think they’re rather splendid.

Penguins to Penguin? Well, I don’t know about you but I’d never heard of the town Penguin. I have now. My customer makes penguin themed gifts for visitors to Penguin.
Sadly, this is the last piece of this print but it’s made me smile and I wanted to share with you that it went to such an appropriate place. 🐧✂️

Charmed is here - it is, well, quite charming. Wonderful celestial and feline prints in shades of blue, teal, purple, cream and black. Added to that are gold scrolls, stars and accents. From Makower Fabrics. Wonderful. Now, I maybe have to make a cushion for each cat which I know they will probably ignore 😁

Oh sunny day ☀️
These beautiful designs arrived last week as I was interailing around Europe with my sister - it was more like a mini race around the world! It was great fun and we covered quite a few miles 🚆
Gerberas are my favourite flower and these Mystic Meadow Gerbera designs are delightful. The Meadow designs are rather gorgeous too.
I’m thinking a quilted jacket, mixing a couple of designs for cuffs and lining. Hmmmm🤔

Anyhow, they are now listed ( not on Etsy as yet, just the website) and I’m ready for a G&T in the early evening sunshine.
