Update

Part 1.
After checking the cctv more thoroughly, I would like to ask the guy who put his arm through the window to get himself a turquoise dress to message me or pop in and pay for it. Im not releasing an image, as still waiting on authorisation from the police.

Part 2.
The person who broke the glass in the door has admitted to being a drunk idiot (his words) on Friday night. He will hopefully honour his word to pay for the damage.

I just wanted to say a really big thank you to everyone who commented and shared my post yesterday, and to those who suppirted us yesterday with your purchases. Its such a supportive community that we live in, and that is something I am truly grateful for. 💜

⭐️UPDATE THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE HAS DONE THE RIGHT THING AND TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DAMAGE ⭐️

LAUNCESTON, CORNWALL
A middle of the night start for myself and Craig. Thankfully this man is prepared with a tool for everything and he has tidied up what we can in preparation for the emergency glazier arriving soon.
Our CCTV, and the towns cameras have captured the incident. It has been logged with the police and crime number issued.
It wasnt a malicious incident, or break in. It was a Friday night getting messy. Of course this will involve insurance excess and raised premiums for us, which is of course another hit for a small business.
So maybe the person who punched the window may like to help towards the cost, to ease his conscience and avoid legal proceedings.
We are hoping to be open as usual today, we may just be a little tired!Thank you to everyone who tried phoning and messaging, its really appreciated. And apologies to local residents for the noise caused with the clear up.
EDIT...we know this happened at 10.09pm, we just didn't see the messages until 4am

Window display changed in Okehampton before 7.30am ✔️. I love an early morning start, definitely my favourite time of day. 🌞

I'm incredibly proud of whats been achieved and hope the shop has added something special within the town, alongside all the other fantastic independent businesses that make Launceston what it is. 💗

I'm excited to now be looking ahead to Year 10 in Launceston.
