Sharing a few of Laurel's travel highlights from our recent holiday ✈️
. the snack box I made for the plane (a small pill box) containing crackers, dried fruit and blueberries 🫐 this was perfect for the plane and easy to pull out of my bag.
.modelling clay (£3 from The Works) she loved playing with most of the holiday. Family competition of who made the best snake, penguin, monkey etc 🐒
.an outdoor explore checklist. We were en route to brekkie at the time so I added coffee as the last thing to check ✅
. we made our own passport for bobby (her bunny comforter 🐰) which we used when leaving the UK airport and Laurel loved handing it over to passport control but she was more excited when we were leaving Croatia as the check-in staff gave her a Jet2 teddy bear one. She told me she had a proper one now 🤣 NB: you can get the personalised ones at build a bear.

We're loving these sponge paint brushes 🫟
Just using the kitchen roll to make splodges is all we needed.
.low level prep after being struck by a virus = a small win. Hoping I can enjoy a big fat Easter egg soon 🤞🏻

A quick and easy activity for your little one.. rescuing their toys by peeling them free from the tape 🦸🏻‍♀️

Grab a bunch of small-ish toys, tape them down to a mat and enjoy a cuppa!

It was so lovely visiting Leeds Hospitals Charity to donate our Christmas boxes for the Neonatal Unit. An incredible charity supporting so many in need 💜 (all year round).

Some of our recent activities..

🎄 DIY Christmas tree using the back of a cereal box
🧁 Making buns using play-dough
🍰 Celebrating monkey's birthday 🎉 using a foil container
☃️ Gluing snowman body parts made from a paper plate

Laurel's fave was the birthday cake, she loved inserting the candles and blowing them out 🌬️

A few activities we've enjoyed on some of our rainy days together ☔🫶🏼

Play schemas:

🦊Laurel's loved transporting water/cotton wool balls/jungle animals from one tub or cup to another.

🦊Connecting - threading Cheerios onto a pipe cleaner before eating most of the Cheerios.

🦊Orientation - yoga stretches, showing daddy her moves she practices at nursery 🧘🏼‍♀️🥹

On one rainy day we went into Argos just for the catalogue and she loves looking through the pictures 😍 a fave childhood memory of mine!!
