COMOODLE EVENT:
North Kirklees Comoodle Giveaway Events
Whether you're an established organisation or just a few folk who want to do worthwhile things, we'd like to invite you to a resource giveaway event in Dewsbury. We have electronics, games, sports equipment, clothing, furniture and much more that needs a good home and could be used for a variety of youth projects and other community activities. All this is available for free to take away and we expect demand to be high, so be sure to book early!
This is a great opportunity for local community projects to be given resources for free that the Council no longer uses to deliver activities that benefit the wider community. Please book on to the event and get along and see what is available.
The last event in Paddock, Huddersfield was a roaring success and the four give away events have seen council youth services resources now distributed to over 70 local community groups and 290 of these items that were classed as sharable are now visible on the platform for anyone to request to borrow. Many more groups took larger items of furniture or art and craft materials too.
All groups wanting to attend this simply need to book a ticket via Eventbrite links below - there are 60 slots for each session.
All people attending will also need to sign up to the Comoodle website and bring with their login email and password to the event.
Basic rules of the event:
- Up to 6 items per group can be chosen
- No advanced reserving of items
- No one will be allowed in without a booked slot
- Any resources which others could transport and borrow are made available on the platform –we will help people do this at the event
- All goods to be removed from the site by Fri 16th
