This was me last night as I demonstrated colour analysis on my first ever Instagram live with Emily Lucy Rajch the owner of ELR Style you’ll find her on instagram and TikTok. She runs her own clothing brand that specialises in classic clothing pieces with extra support so they bring comfort and confidence to the wearer.
It was great fun to work with her and fly the flag for colour analysis.

Colour analysis doesn’t have to be about bold, bright colours. It’s about finding the right shades to complement your look. In a nutshell, we look at your eyes, skin and some would say controversially, your hair (why would you cover someone’s hair up to do a colour analysis, when it is such a big part of you?). We then balance your look with complementary colours.

Consultant Amanda is a Warm under our tonal system. She suits colours that have warmth in them. Doesn’t she look fabulous?

Colour analysis works!

I was watching this morning, where a colour consultant was interviewed about the latest craze - colour analysis. It’s a thing don’t you know, and all over

I first had my colours done in 1992 by (CMB) - it was seasonal colour analysis then, and I was analysed as an Autumn. My autumn colours worked for many years, ensuring that I always wore my best colours, saving me thousands of pounds, and allowing me to shop confidently.

About 3 years ago, my hair colour was cooling down, and my freckles were fading. My strong autumn colours were not making me look or feel my best. I reviewed my own colours, and analysed myself a soft but still with some warmth.

Fast forward to January 2023, my colouring had significantly cooled down, which meant that following a third colour analysis session my colour wallet changed again - this time to cooler colours.

I have no intention of colouring my hair ‘warmer’ or darker. I don’t intend to wear drab colours, or hide in any corner either 👵🏻, I’m intending to age gracefully, but always wearing my best colours.
