Brushed Culture by J Marks is a label that has risen out of what was missing from the High Street and the higher end of fashion. Clothing with a soul for creative people who are conscious of their own image but are not led by what is current, only what excites and empowers them whether that is current or not. Brushed Culture Photography services put a different angle on your perfect image. Founder

Janet Marks studied Fashion Design and Technology at London College of Fashion; Textile design, CAD Design, Art History and Fine Art at Bradford School of Art and Design and Photography at Huddersfield Technical College. Her love of art saw her study The History of painting (Art History) Janet eventually specialised in knitwear design at London College of Fashion for her final year because of her love for texture and shape. She is now creating new ranges of clothing for different genre's. Her first range is her Africa Range based on beautiful African inspired Wax prints in a young and funky range.
