Our multi-gauge 530 3, 5.2 machine has been non stop knitting these past few weeks. Utilising all needles in a single jersey structure, these particular pieces are knitted as a lovely 7 gauge fabric 🙌

It’s a dancing ADF kind of day 🕺

Our 7.2 ADF machine is happy at work knitting on a slightly smaller scale today 🧶

It’s pamper day for our CMS 530 7.2 machine 🧶!!

To ensure our machines are well maintained for daily sampling and production, a deep clean is necessary to keep our needle bed well oiled and happy for more knitting!! 🌟

We had the pleasure to work with Jennifer Rodriguez-Selden, founder of who designs pieces with a focus on timeless, sustainable knitwear. Not only did we knit some of these pieces for the collection, but we washed, dried and linked the fabrics together using our inhouse facilities!

With a multicultural background—British, French, Argentinian, and Polish—Jennifer brings a unique and diverse perspective to her design approach. She is known for her intricate, luxurious knitwear made from cashmere and merino wool.

The brand focuses on sustainable, timeless knitwear, creating modular collections whereby pieces from different seasons are interchangeable. Her illustrations are also featured as limited-edition prints in her interior design line, and the brand embraces zero waste by turning knitwear swatches into cushions.

Both cashmere and merino wool are machine washable, biodegradable, and naturally antibacterial, allowing them to stay fresh with less washing. These eco-friendly qualities make wool a responsible choice for fashion.
Maison J R S prioritises the use of sustainable materials that respect both the planet and the people who wear them.

More work will be on the way soon!

The ‘Bradford Fine Wool 2025 Collection’ is a small yarn collection of 8 shades! We have been working with Dr John Parkinson from
to create a series of samples across 5gg and 7gg machines, achieving classic textures complimenting the yarns Yorkshire Heritage.

The yarn has a beautiful handle, limited edition but also available in forward order, 2/9NM yarn size for 3, 5, 7 gauge knitting or weaving in two-fold (or single and larger batches by prior arrangement)
The first (blue) trial shade will be completed and ready for sampling by November and all the collection will follow from the start of 2025.

These yarns will be 100% recycled fine wool (80 pre-consumer and 20 post-consumer). The post-consumer part is waste from spinning mills that we sort, and prepare for re-spinning. The post-consumer part are throw away fine (unwearable) wool knits that are donated to charities. We purchase these, sort for colour and shred them back to fibre, which is then blended with pre-consumer and re- spun ready to start life all over again. The yarns are 100% undyed by us as we utilise the dye from their original use.

When you think of a knitted hat this isn’t usually the first thing that comes to mind. With considered yarn choices and the capabilities of the ADF 530-32 ki, fabrics can be knitted on the round to create a range of shapes and silhouettes for a whole host of applications.

These machines have also been used to create Technical Textiles contributing to the medical and automotive industry as well as knitting gold plaited wire to put satellites in space!

In the studio we have an extensive collection clients can browse from demonstrating the endless possibilities of what can be achieved with our team and machines.

Have an idea that you want to discuss? Email [email protected] where we can start to make those ideas a reality!
