Mandy Noss - Independent cabi stylist

Mandy Noss - Independent cabi stylist I love helping women feel confident in their unique style through personal cabi styling. Zero pressure, warm community, effortless wardrobes.

Relish walking alongside women starting their own flexible fashion business. 💛 I am loving being one of the Pioneer cabi Stylists who has been softly launching this fabulous brand into the UK market since 2017. For those of you who don't know it, cabi is a LA based women's clothing brand that launched in 2002. The purpose of the soft launch was for us to test and learn how the UK consumer would re

act and respond to this alternative way to shop and work. The response has been fantastic and as a direct result, we did the most amazing big launch on London's Baker Street in May 2019. A fantastic Influencer Event and Pop Up Boutique received fabulous attendance and reaction. In fact as a direct result, we appeared in The Sunday Times Style magazine with the most amazing article - please do read it here

Based in Los Angeles, cabi has been thriving in the US since 2002, with 3000 Independent cabi Stylists. What I love about cabi, apart from the fantastic carefully curated designer collection, is the freedom to be my own boss, freedom to discover true style, freedom to share Style & Ideas with, all in an intimate personal shopping setting - at home or at work. cabi's design team create two Collections each year - Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter and each collection is carefully designed to ensure it mixes and matches with past seasons. These clothes are meant to be in your wardrobe for seasons to come. I look forward to sharing my passion for this exciting opportunity with you. The cabi culture of collaboration, not competition and affecting lives through relationships, is right up my street. To put the icing on the cake, another strand of the business is The Heart of cabi Foundation, which is dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs in under-resourced parts of the world. It's a good feeling knowing that I'm part of something which is impacting the lives of families around the world. I'd simply love to share it with you.

Did you see yesterday’s post? Were you curious why I dressed like this - with intention - my true authentic self ? Well I did something new. Something that wouldn’t have even been on my radar ten years ago.

I attended the inaugural meeting of the Women on Boards CIC Network East Midlands.

Ten years ago, I wouldn’t have walked through that door. I wouldn’t have signed up. And I certainly wouldn’t have believed I had anything worth offering. I might have even been anxious about the other women in the room.

But building my cabi business changed all of that. Resilience, people skills, leadership, wins and yes, hard lessons too, gave me something I didn’t see coming. Self-belief. Real, earned, unshakeable self-belief.

So when I sat and listened to the panel at the launch last month and heard about this programme, instead of talking myself out of it the way the old me might have, I signed up.

My friend Payal Walker, Founder and Co-CEO of Women on Boards CIC, helped me see what I hadn’t seen in myself. That my experience across many fields and many years has genuine value. You’re never too old, nor too wise, to realise you have wisdom worth sharing. So here I am to learn more and meet women who feel the same.

I love a challenge. And Mandy? She’s only just getting started.

This morning I dressed with intention.

Smart jeans. Stripe top. Navy and white jacket.

Not an accident. Not just an outfit. A deliberate choice to show up as authentically, confidently me.

Because this morning’s theme was Personal Development & Branding and if that’s my sweet spot, I’d better walk in looking like I believe it.

Turns out, the morning had a lot more in store for me than I expected.

Watch this space. 👀 and you’ll find out why.

Did you get it right? I ended up sitting outside with my book and honestly, the Kick It Shirt in blue was always going to be the one. Easy, relaxed, just right for it. 💙

Navy Easy Skirt, navy Sweetheart Tank. A column of colour, always elongating, always effortless, always right.

But here’s where it gets fun. Because a great base like this is basically a blank canvas and today I could not stop myself. How many toppers can one outfit take? Apparently I had a lot of opinions about that.

So I’m showing you all of them. Every single option I tried. And then I want to know — which one do you think I actually walked out the door in? Drop your answer below and I will tell you if you’re right. 👇

OOTD ✨

Today I am absolutely living in the Trustee Baby Boot Jeans and honestly they might be the hardest working piece in my wardrobe right now.

Dark wash, high rise, fitted through the hip and thigh and that flare. Not just any flare, the flare. The kind that actually clears your shoe and gives you that long clean leg line. And today the shoe in question is my Roberto Cavalli white and silver pumps. The contrast against the dark denim is everything, the silver just picks up the wash and it works.

Up top, past season favourite the Lace Blouse. Now I know a lot of you missed out on this one and I have absolutely heard about it. All I will say is watch this space next week. I am saying nothing more. 🤐

One of my absolute favourite things to do. 💛

Today I had the loveliest time welcoming Lindsey and Tilly to cabi casa for their very first taste of cabi. And honestly, watching someone discover it for the first time never gets old!

The moment they find that perfect stretch. Run their fingers over the stitching. Feel the quality. You can see it on their faces and it just makes my heart sing every single time. ✨ And then when one of them is already a qualified Personal Stylist, it makes it extra special to see their reaction.

Welcome to the cabi world ladies, something tells me this is just the beginning! 😊

Who else remembers their first cabi moment? Drop it in the comments, I would love to hear! 👇

This article made me sad. And angry. And then determined to say something.

If you’ve seen the Which? piece about bogus boutiques this week, I completely understand if it’s made you cautious. It should. Women are being misled by fake shops with invented backstories, AI images, and clothes that bear no resemblance to what arrives at the door. It’s awful.

But I want you to know something.

When you come to a cabi gathering or personal styling appointment with me, you are not buying from a faceless website. You are buying from me, Mandy. You try the clothes on. In person. You feel the fabric, you see the lining, you know exactly what you’re getting because it is right there in front of you. And if we do it virtually, you still get me sharing everything about the pieces, in person.

cabi is an American brand with over 20 years behind it. I have been a cabi stylist and business owner for ten years. My reputation, my relationships, and my business are built entirely on trust. That is not something I would ever compromise.

When you shop with me, you are supporting a real woman, running a real business, with a brand she genuinely believes in. That is the opposite of a bogus boutique.

If you ever have any questions about who I am or how cabi works, just ask. I am always here.

SANTORINI DRESS

It’s on again today and I am loving it in this glorious weather.
For those who might be just a little sceptical 🙄🫣I really am wearing forest green un**es underneath. And you’d never know.

And since we’re talking lining, here’s the proof. This is the dress inside out. Beautiful from every angle, and the reason you can wear it with absolute confidence whatever you have on underneath.

We have the best dress selection ever this season, with 3 more still to come in June’s New Arrivals. I cannot wait to show you them when they go live.

One and done dressing in this heat is simply perfection. Check out all our dresses in my bio and ask me for fit advice 💖

Stylishly yours
Mandy x
