Two painted lines. An entire history.

Momotaro’s signature stripes trace back to the Japanese folktale of Momotaro and the flag carried by him and his companions as they set out to defeat the ogres.

During the brand’s reworking, the team considered removing the stripes to create a more refined identity. Ultimately, they decided that removing them would mean denying part of Momotaro’s history.

Today, every set is still silk-screened by hand in Kojima. As the deep Tokuno Blue denim fades, the painted lines age alongside it. Leaving every pair completely individual.
