You asked. We listened. Meet KZ. 👓✨

We’re just about to launch an exciting new collection designed to complement our much-loved KidZone range.

KZ is for teenagers and smaller adults who can often fall into that awkward gap between children’s and adult eyewear.

Following feedback from our customers, we kept hearing the same things — you needed bigger sizes, trendier shapes and improved fitting, particularly for young patients requiring myopia control.

So we got to work.

KZ has been specifically designed in 47 and 48 eye sizes, with improved crest heights to help achieve the fit required for myopia control lenses, alongside shapes and colours that teenagers will actually want to wear.

And did we mention the price?

We’ve kept the same fantastic value for money you expect from KidZone because we firmly believe a better-fitting frame shouldn’t have to cost more.

The first KZ models are now available to preview through your Area Sales Manager, and we really hope this is just the start of something exciting.

☀️ Fine Line 1037 — looking rather fabulous as a prescription sunglass! 😎

Here shows our new Fine Line 1037 with polarising prescription sun lenses, and we love the result.

We see practices getting really creative with their sunglass offering. Some glaze a selection of frames from across our collections with sample sun lenses, displaying a complete prescription sunglass price so patients can see exactly what they can have — and what it will cost.

Others, particularly practices in tourist hotspots, glaze selected frames with plano lenses offering full UV protection, ready to buy straight off the shelf.

Because let’s face it… tourists visiting the UK don’t always expect to need sunglasses! ☀️😂

We know the school holidays have just started in some parts of the UK, but it’s an ideal time to talk about Kidzone, our children’s collection at White Optics.

Kidzone are designed for a child’s face, with a generous crest height that gives myopia control lenses the depth they need. The temple lengths are cut for children’s heads, so they sit properly behind the ears. And the arms are sprung, ideal for playground antics.

There’s more coming. New larger-size KZ trendy styles launch mid-August, with delivery from mid-September. Same great fit, bigger sizes.
