We’re working on a mega raffle for Lewes Community Closet and I am looking for local businesses who might like to offer some fun prizes for local families!

Many families are struggling to make ends meet because of increasing living costs, and we’d love to offer some fun days out, restaurant vouchers and gifts for all the family that could be re-gifted at Christmas time, as well as household items that are genuinely useful to all of us!

Comment/message or email [email protected] if you’d like to help

A productive morning meeting at Depot Cinema for Lewes Community Closet!

We met with the amazing Faustina Bayo from COLPAG, the Lewes District Cost of Living Poverty Action Group, and we’re so grateful for her support, guidance and excellent advice as we continue to grow our community work across Lewes.

And we have some very exciting news to share…

We’re delighted to announce that Lewes Community Closet has been nominated for an award at Celebrating Communities 2026, hosted by Community Action East Sussex, in acknowledgement of the positive impact our work has had on our local community.

We’re incredibly proud of what our volunteers, supporters and community have created together - and this recognition belongs to all of you! 🩵
