A heartfelt shoutout to our wonderful café duo, James & Teresa ☕️💙

They pour endless cups of tea and coffee, make sure everyone is piled high with cake and biscuits, and always have time for a proper natter with our regulars and new faces.

It’s the kindness, conversation and welcome that make our community so special. Hospitality really is a gift - and we’re so grateful for theirs! ❤️

What an amazing first session at Landport Community Hub! Good vibes, lots of lovely new faces and a wonderful atmosphere ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and a special thank you to Debbie for making the move so smooth and for all her support - it was lovely to see you!

The children loved designing their own dresses, hoodies and dungarees as part of our ongoing competition. Three winners are chosen at every session, each taking home a big bag of Haribo or Candy Kittens 🍬

We feel very fortunate to do this work and we’re feeling very blessed. We love looking after our community, creating a welcoming space for everyone, and making sure everyone has access to FREE high quality clothing. We’re also delighted to be keeping a huge amount of clothing out of landfill.

Please keep an eye on our social media for details of our next session in September.

If you need anything clothing-related, please do get in touch. We’re always happy to help source what you need and support local families wherever we can. With generous donations coming in regularly, we’re constantly washing, sorting and preparing items behind the scenes.

💛 WE’RE BACK! 💛

Come along to our first ever Lewes Community Closet session at Landport Community Hub on Monday 17th August, 10am–12pm — everyone is welcome!

We’ll have FREE clothing for all ages, including a mix of summer and autumn clothing, so come along and have a browse.

There’ll also be free tea, coffee and cake, plus crafts, toys and games for little ones (dairy and gluten free options available) ☕🍰🎨

📍 Landport Community Hub, Lewes
📅 Monday 17 August
⏰ 10am–12pm
💛 Free entry — everyone welcome

We’ll also be accepting clothing donations on the day. If you have good-quality, clean clothing that you no longer need, please bring it along and help us keep the Community Closet stocked for local people.
