On the 15th Aug the The Official UK Hair and Beauty Awards took place. Even though I didn't win(which I knew I wouldn't) I placed within the top 100 in the whole of the UK. On Friday afternoon I was at Grafton Manor to see beautiful Sarah. It was small, intimate...just the two of us. Sarah wanted to do her own makeup and she'd asked me to do her hair. She has such a lot of hair, which I love. All natural, no extensions ( scroll through to see her natural hair). When we did her trial a couple of months ago, she was unsure whether to have it half up half down or all up. She's so glad she opted for an updo because it was hot šŸ„µ.

Beautiful Heather Jane and her gorgeous bridal party yesterday at Hogarths Stone Manor

I met Heather at a wedding fayre last February, since then she's become one of my hairdressing clients so I get to see her every 6 weeks. We've both been so excited for her wedding day for so long now, and yesterday I got to finally do her hair and makeup along with her two beautiful bridesmaids and her stunning momma

I had such a lovely relaxed morning with them all.

Gorgeous Natalie and her wedding party yesterday.

this was probably the earliest start I've had all year with weddings, I was up at 3:15 and at the venue for 5:20

Because of the sheer amount of work I had to do I didn't take any pictures of the makeup, just the hair, I even forgot to take pictures of the two younger bridesmaids who I did as well.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing Grace and her 3 bridesmaids hair. We luckily managed to stay nice and cool during the preparation process as it was a hot one yesterday šŸ„µ. We created a varied array of low textured buns and a half up half down to suit each individual person's hair. I really enjoyed my morning with these beautiful ladies. I hope you had the best day, Grace.

Wow! What can I say about yesterday. So zen, so chilled, absolutely stunning venue and absolutely stunning bride.

I arrived at yesterday morning to help Katie, her mom, and Emily her bridesmaid get ready for her wedding.
It's probably THE most chilled wedding party I've ever done, there were affirmations, breath work, beautiful scenery and a very zen playlist.

Katie wanted to keep everything calm, bohemian and very natural, so that's what we did. Focusing on keeping the makeup and hair simple and unfussy. Everyone looked amazing and I cannot wait to see the photos from your special day.

Hampton Manor is a venue I've never worked at before, I really hope I have the opportunity to work there again. It's an incredible place.
