A reminder of this great event all next week with my class a week tomorrow (12 August). All the artists have kept prices to a minimum to allow as many people as possible to experience something creative and fun.

Events are on all week!

These photos represent my core classes:

- French Couture jacket made in a casual style made from Linton Tweed
- Trouser courses (these are the barrel leg): made from denim from the Quilting Bee
- French Couture Bag course - this is the larger Marilyn bag made from Linton Tweed
- Hacked blouse - something we do at Saturday Sewing - made from donated vintage fabric (Diolch Rhian!)

We have a healthy mix of locals plus people from all over the UK attending courses. Plus further afield! Two separate bookings from France and another from America just last night.

In a couple of weeks I’m facilitating a community class in my home village of Llanfairfechan as part of its Arts Week.

Still being inspired by the co-ords I’m seeing on the socials!

This is my dressed up version… the fabric is some imitation silk from Textile Express. The skirt is the Tilly and the Buttons Ramona with added double ruffle of raw edged silk and matching organza. The top is my wearable toile of Fibre Mood Lilian.

See photo of me with my matching earrings - I think it’s an illness 😂. Does anyone else like to match this much?!

Last series before the autumn term finished last night! And look at these beauties made on the evening and day courses. The sewalongs were the Quilted Twin Set or the Carnation blouse by Fabric Godmother. Everyone worked so hard on them! But we had plenty of laughs too!!

Many of the summer courses are sold out but there are some spots left! So do book in if you fancy joining us at Summer School!

Summer School is back next week - and we're concentrating on buttonholes.

Have you always been nervous about adding buttonholes to your garments? Well this is your chance to chase away those fears! We will use some scraps of fabric so that you can practice to your hearts content. I will also show you how to use your machine to sew on buttons.

*This is a 3hr class with a 45min masterclass session. You are encouraged to bring unfinished objects (UFO's!), or something you require my help with fitting. It will run similarly to our popular Saturday Sewing classes.
