A few close up shots as the video this morning didn't really do it justice, I love the combination of painting with embroidery over it, I've seen it done in modern pieces but not come across before with something older. I'd like to get rid of the foxing but given that its a painted background I'm going to leave it alone!

Thanks so much for all your lovely comments and support (again!) on yesterday's post, I'm quite overwhelmed!!

I've not had a chance to respond to them all but please know your comments are so appreciated and you've all made me feel 1000s of times better about what I do , thank you from the bottom of my heart 🥰

So no more negative, just looking to the future, and its definitely a bright one for this clever girl! She free hand drew her design in chalk and then painted over with the bleach, such a simple but effective technique! I fear for the rest of her wardrobe now as she will want to try it on everything 😂

Ok I'm done with this now........

It's not what my page is about, so no more space on my page will be given to trying to educate stupid (did I say that out loud 🙊) You are completely entitled to your opinion and can comment in this way IF (big if) you have read the actual post!! You know the part that tells you it was covered in paint and when it comes to destroying it someone got there before me and I'm trying to save it🤦‍♀️

So no more time and energy from now on I do what I do, no explanation!

Thanks so much for all your lovely supportive comments, I can't wait to show you some more makes very soon (i might even have a couple of bits ready to go in my shop tomorrow😉),but first I have to contend with the back to school shoe shop!! Wish me luck!
