T R U S T T H E P R O C E S S . . .
A bit of a long one today so please bare with us... As some of you may know, running a small business is HARD. We have built In Clover from the ground up and it's taken us years (literally!) to find the fabrics and production team that we were happy with to launch with our website earlier this year. This has all been done by ourselves, self funded by our very humble earnings from our day jobs and we both left full time employment to be able to follow this dream... so as you can imagine, we pour our hearts and souls into In Clover and what we produce.
And now we've hit a bit of a hiccup... despite being happy with the initial sampling process we have sadly been really let down by our production company- they are also a small business in the UK and we trusted them to create our garments with love and care. Unfortunately this hasn't happened they delivered all of our stock for the upcoming Live Wedding Show damaged and unwearable. Long story very short, they are winding down their business and refusing to refund or remake this stock which leaves us unable to attend the wedding show in just 2 weeks time.
Why am I telling you this? Well, we just want you to know that despite this, we are not giving up! We are working really hard behind the scenes to figure out a new plan for production (this will look a little different but we are excited by the new opportunities we're working with) and we ask you to bare with us while we get back on our feet so that we can come back with a bang!
And to other small business owners out there, we'd like to say... you've got this! Keep going and don't give up because without the likes of you and us the world of clothing would be a pretty sad place. Trust the process!

We’ve searched high and low for luxury, quality fabrics at a fair price…Our kimono silk has been sourced from collectors in Japan, these are one off vintage kimonos that have been hand un-picked so that we can give them a new lease of life. Our silk velvet is 100% natural and biodegradable, making it kind to your skin and kind to the planet.

We’re always conscious of our impact on the world, challenging ourselves to create the most sustainable and ethical production we possibly can, constantly looking for ways to improve and evolve. 100 percent of our garments are made in small batches, in the UK out of natural and luxurious fabrics, that are kind to our environment. Design details such as adjustable straps and tie belts allow our customers to wear for years to come.

On this, the last day of March, we'd love to share our silly faces again for ! For those of you who are new around here, here's a bit more about us...
In Clover was founded by two friends Sophie Martin and Kate Jones. They met working for a small fashion company in Gloucestershire.
Kate has built on her 18 years of design experience working for top UK and overseas brands. Sophie honed her Illustration skills studying at University and went on to work in PR and Marketing and running an independent fashion business.
They both passionately believe that In Clover must be a brand that is British, sustainable, made to order, with a wear forever appeal. Most importantly worn with ease, hence the name ‘In Clover.’
