One of the OG piggyback pouches in the hands of a world class operator and instructor

Minerva began during lockdown toward the start of the Covid pandemic. I was on furlough from my job. I was always designing things and getting others to make them so one day I decided to become the maker. I’d read years ago about making slings for himself and his brothers in Force Recon and thought “well if Travis thinks sewing is cool then so do I.”

My graphic design and advertising background enabled me to create paths in Adobe illustrator which guys like Martin were able to understand and convert into cuttable files and supply me the components to designs. An incredible service.

I never imagined that Minerva would become something people believed in.

Yes, I am ex military and have tried and tested my own products to destruction but to have other world class professionals offer positive feedback is the biggest compliment of all. We can all get absorbed in our own ideas - other people’s opinions are vital to the success of a product or idea - especially real world users.

I’m humbled to be a part of this industry and can only thank you all for being patient with us.

Minerva is alive and well, we WILL restock in 2024 and excited for the relationships we have made.

Thank you for everyone who has believed in us so far 🙏🏼❤️

Minerva Pro Cap with stamped eyelets for holding in-ear plugs such as the Surefire Sonic type.

It’s a simple install cutting the Sonic’s rubber cord, feeding it through the mesh and tying a knot. Simple and effective solution for not loosing your earpro 👍🏼

I’ve had a minute since arriving in the USA, waiting to start my main career in aviation back up; waiting for a location where my airline want to send us; hence the delay in getting the Nylon side of Minerva back up and running.

We have met some amazing people along the way and have some great contacts to take Minerva there again but we’re still a month or two out.

while I’ve been patient I’ve looked into other disciplines. We’ve been staying with family in Utah -
My Cousin Kevin from has been mentoring me; showing me the ropes in knife making or bladesmithing. I’m a long way from his hand forged Damascus and his beveling skills but it’s been fun working with stainless and seeing what I can achieve with his guidance.

Thanks to all of you for being so patient waiting for the nylon to restock - we appreciate you and apologies for this delay. We never anticipated it would take this long to get settled.

My job starts in February 2024 meaning we will have stability finally; giving us the base my family and I need from which to work on Minerva again.

In the meantime we’re planning a pre-order for a cool new product that will likely go live around Christmas/New Years and ship out end of Jan. Clue; it’s not a knife 😉 but that one in the first picture may be released in limited quantities someday!
