Last Tuesday, we had a Millinery & Business Academy members meetup and went to see the new Schiaparelli exhibition at the for a bit of inspiration.
It was fabulous, so inspiring! So many amazing tailored outfits, bags, jewellery pieces, hats!!
So much inspiration and surrealism!
I loved it.
It made me want to change my shop around and start adding new things.
Well worth the visit and I will be back......

Millinery Ramble Day 20 🌟
Today I am giving you some tips on making sure your hat is right for your customer, including colours, face shapes, elastic, etc.

🌟I also wanted to let you know that I will be teaching a futuristic hat class using unusual materials at the end of March. If you would like to join us (spaces are limited), please say below, and I will send you some more info.

I love being a Milliner and having a career where I can make hats, make my own decisions, work with people I like and not have someone else telling me what to do.
It's freedom, and it's wonderful. If you have ever thought about starting your own business in millinery or another craft, I encourage you to do so, even if it's just part-time at first.
