Winner Announcement 2022 🏆
We are pleased to announce that Greenlody by Yihan D**g is the winner of the Meaning Centred Design™ Awards 2022.
Praised for its sense of fun, Greenlody was selected as the overall winner for bringing a playful perspective to the meaning of maintainable wellness.
The concept responds to a growing problem where we witness generations of children around the globe spending less time outdoors in favour of more time in front of screens. Greenlody aims to create a balance between the physical and digital worlds, enabling children to interact with both simultaneously.
Yihan’s work showcased incredible depth across the entire design process, capturing valuable insights from different perspectives. As a result, the final design was well-informed and validated by research making it a viable solution for a commercial market. The device itself captures the imagination of explorative play through its approachable aesthetic and its clever use of modular forms and engaging colours.
Greenlody is innovative, well-researched, and intuitive with an eye on sustainability through the responsible use of materials. Overall, a worthy winner. Congratulations Yihan D**g!
