Help Bamboo Grow Bamboo doesn't usually need help growing but 2020 has had an unusual effect on many. Of course I'm Many customers purchase more than one garment.

I’m a sole trader supplying ladies wear to small independent shops and boutiques, you can imagine 2020 was not a great year!! Since 2017 The Bamboo Wardrobe has been going from strength to strength, the collection of classic versatile ladies wear has proved to be extremely popular. A natural fibre that women enjoy wearing for any occasion and crease resistant so a really great alternative to linen

. Designed in London (by Me) and produced in Vietnam by a small workshop we are all women lead small businesses. Many clients have had 100% sale through and have found it to be their bestselling line. Very briefly this is how we worked up until the pandemic hit:

I would meet new and existing clients at trade shows, they would place orders with me and once I received a deposit I would put that order into production. The balance of the order is due on delivery, but I have to pay for it prior to shipping. New designs are developed for each season, whilst bamboo is favoured for the summer months many women wear it all year round and I had just introduced a jersey fabric to some designs to make it a year round collection. For various reasons I do end up holding some stock, I retail this online and at a few London/ Kent based fairs. I am seeking funding to help with the following
• SEO for the Retail site = this is a specialist area and
• Upgrade the Wholesale website = so clients can easily order in the absence of physical trade shows.
• Purchase Stock = Offer deposit free order option for regular clients that have reduced cash flow.
• Purchase samples from newly sourced suppliers and fabrics = to increase the autumn winter collections
• A promotional video to assist brand awareness and endorsement. By supporting me you are also supporting many other small independent businesses.

Another THANK YOU😘😘😘!

Late yesterday afternoon I received the email to say that I have been successful and the Mayor is going to match fund my campaign.

Just a quick note to say that as detailed in my project info I will be spending the money on upgrading the website and improving the SEO and general digital presence. I would also like to get a photoshoot done in the Summer for the next seasons collection.
So not only have you helped my with this project but all the other small businesses whose services I will be buying in.

I am delighted to say that I reached the target I had set for the crowd funding campaign.

Now I need to do a little bit more admin and then hopefully the Mayor will match it. I will keep you posted 🤞

I've reached over 27 supporters and raised 35%. I need to raise 50% to be matched so only 15% to go (in real money that's £370)

First of all I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported so far.

I've got 11 days left and they will only consider my project when I hit 25%, (currently at 18%) and 25 I need to have separate supporters to qualify
