17th century- 18th century bronze cauldron by John Fathers L - John Fathers ll in Montacute Somerset.
Fathers produced a significant portion of the bronze. The initial H could be designate specific family member. If it is from the Fathers Foundry it’s dated from 1670-1720
I have not cleaned it as I believe it’s beautiful the way it is. 7kg H 10” x 14” across. DM for price and delivery details

Hi everybody just wanted to say June is mental health awareness for men. Having gone through it myself (and some days fighting with it) I think I know what it’s like. Do you know in the UK 4,500-5,000 men take their own lives a year, i suppose we are men and men are strong and we’ll be ok, but no one knows what is going on behind that smile or laugh. The challenges and stigma that we go through as men are hard so we bottle it up instead of sharing it,no one wants to know that men cry, societal conditioning and culture expectations mean that men offer suppress their tears or feelings and do so in private, so please remember we are only human as well.
